What darshan means
Darshan is not an event. It is a meeting.
In our tradition, darshan means to see, and to be seen. To come into the presence of a realised Master and let something pass between you that words can never hold.
You do not need to arrive with a question. You do not need to arrive prepared. You only need to arrive.
In the Sannidhya of the Guru, the mind grows quiet on its own, the heart softens, and what you have been seeking outside is remembered within.

What the day holds
Four sacred dimensions of the day
Guru Darshan is a day of coming together in the presence of the Guru — through Yagya, Kirtan, Satsang and Sangha.

Voices rising together in remembrance of the Divine, allowing the heart to open through Naam and Naad.

Satsang
Time in the presence of Gurudev Sri Anish — through his words, his silence, and the living transmission of Sannidhya.

Sangha
Being together with fellow sadhaks, sharing prasadam, love, and the simple rhythm of ashram life.

What they carried home
A day in the presence of the Guru can be experienced in many different ways.
Nothing can describe today’s magical day and once-in-a-lifetime experience. To finally meet one’s Guru, be in his presence and be in the divine Satsang, transcendental kirtans, the bliss, the beautiful ambience and lovely Saadho Sangha.
We were chanting with our eyes closed inside the Shiva temple before yagya. When I opened mine, Gurudev was sitting there, and for a brief moment I felt as though he is Shiva himself. It was only for a fraction of a second, but it was truly divine.
I feel truly blessed to have had the darshan of Gurudev, his dedicated team, and Saadho Ashram for the second time within just a couple of weeks. It was undoubtedly a heavenly experience.
What an awesome and truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. My heartfelt gratitude to Saadho Sangha, and infinite thanks to our beloved Gurudev for blessing us with such a divine journey.
